The project. Our contribution.

Griffiths Evans supported the transformation of the sports hall at William Perkin CofE High School into the Wilf Slack Cricket Centre. The four-lane facility combines cricket training with continued use for school sport, badminton and basketball.

We developed the MEP performance requirements, including specialist LED lighting and scene controls, emergency lighting, electrical services and infrastructure for cricket-analysis cameras. The work required careful coordination with retained services and the hall’s changing sports layouts.

Opened in April 2022, the centre was developed with Middlesex Cricket and the Twyford CofE Academies Trust to serve the school, local clubs and the wider community.
