The project. Our contribution.
Griffiths Evans is working on Skyline Sheffield, a proposed leisure destination at Parkwood Springs, north of the city centre.
The proposals seek to bring the former Ski Village site back into use with gravity-powered downhill Luge rides, a family playground, food and drink, and an indoor education attraction.
The scheme forms part of the wider regeneration of Parkwood Springs. Longer-term ideas include a zipline and surf-wave experience, with dry ski slopes also being explored. These remain future possibilities rather than elements of the initial proposal.
Our involvement adds to the practice’s experience of destinations that combine visitor facilities, outdoor activity and the operational demands of leisure environments.
