Ipswich Town FC’s new training facility is located at their existing Rushmere St Andrews site. The new facilities include a first team building, grounds maintenance building and academy extension, to what was the original first team building.
Griffiths Evans is appointed for full MEP design service, from concept through to RIBA Stage 4, followed by a client supervisory role through construction and handover.
The new first team building, including the hydrotherapy pool, is heated and cooled by dual circuit, heat recovery air source heat pumps, which along with electric cooking facilities and a 30 kW solar PV array, form part of the building’s all-electric design.
